Or GSP and Silva if they were both natural MW's? Pound for pound meaning if you could through aside weight difference and put them on an equal plain who would win. I strongly believe that a 6'3 250 pound BJ would stomp Fedor, Lesnar and all others. Do you think he could beat Machida is he was a natural LHW? I sure do.

Best p4p means most skilled without consideration to their physical size....by "imagining" a super hero bj penn stomping fedor at heavyweight, you are doing just the opposite of that. you're giving bj the agility of a lightweight and the strength of a heavy. of course he would be number 1. Remember....it takes a different skill set to excel at heavyweight than at lightweight. i'm not saying a better skill set, just different.
Also, for what it's worth...i think a lot of people put emphasis on fedor being top p4p because he consistently overcomes size disadvantages to dominate the competition...a hallmark for top p4p fighters.....something that bj doesn't seem to be able to do (losses to hughes and GSP)....look at silva....he too overcomes size disadvantages to win (griffen is one of the biggest guys at lhw).
my 2 cents, cheers

My list would be
1 BJ
1 Fedor
1 A Silva
Yes they are all number 1 because they would split thier fights
meaning BJ v Silva 2 wins a each
Fedor v BJ 2 fights each ETC
this only works in land where everyone is SAME SIZE
With that being said P4P will always be unagreeable. Some will always say fedor, or BJ, or GSP or Silva
Right now if you look at who jumps weight and wins I have to say it is Silva with 2 wins by destruction at 205

Now while I would never wanna be punched by Brock Lesnar, what kind of pussy taps out after 2 punches hits him in the face?
...the kind of pussy with a 2 & 5 MMA Record I guess.
Nevermind, looks like I answered my own question.
Lordy lordy that fight was lame.

- Undefeated in the UFC
- Most successful title defenses
- Clearned out his division
- Moved up to lhw and made one of the top 5 fighters look foolish
- And my personal favorit: Has beaten most of his opponents in under 2 rounds.
Ill give the UFC P4P title to Anderson Silva.

Pretty cool videos. My biggest pet peeve against the UFC is they are total nazi's about video's of their stuff online. I wouldn't mind if the UFC on Demand wasn't garbage, but I paid like 60 bucks for 6 months and it was a pain in the ass to watch the videos. I love being able to catch Strikeforce, Bellator, K1, and Dream fights on the web the next day.
But prelims on spike are very cool, and the UFN's are always awesome. I won't take that away from them.
