I never said present day and I still wouldnt rush to call it superb.
Now guys like Tyson Griffin, Clay Guida, Forest Griffin and Rich Franklin have superb cardio.

I think Kimbo should sign with strike force. I mean I know he has a contract with the UFC right now.

Why would he take a step down instead of fighting for the biggest promotion in MMA? Besides I dont think Strikeforce is going anywhere anytime soon and thats always an option for him if not overseas.

As long as he maintains that Tank Abott slugem style he will always have continued interest. Personally if things didnt work out for him I would like to see him try out boxing since thats more inline with his current skillsets.

Atleast in boxing he wont have to worry about people going after his bad knees lol.

The way I see it, if you don't care about the money(because we all know the UFC pays more than strike force) and you want to fight who many consider to be the best fighter, even though the guy never claims to be the best) then I would go to stike force. Thats what a fighter should strive to do,right? fight the best competition.

Yea but now youre entering in to a discusson of which company has the best fighters. In my opinion thats the UFC.

I certainly dont think any fighter should ever leave a good promotion just to fight 1 guy. You have to think about your future and to me thats just not an intelligent decision.

Aside from that I wouldnt want to see anyone with limited skillsets in the ring against Fedor. If you have a weak ground game theres just certain fighters that should be best avoided.

I'm going to have to agree with you there.

You know what I thougt was cool was about maybe 1-2 years ago when Randy was champ, he acully wanted to go after Fedor(I can't remember what organization fedor was with? Affliction? The only draw back to that was the whole contract thing with the UFC. I'm pretty sure the other organization was willing to co-promote. I think if you want the sport to grow
one would have to co-promote.
