Dude is a punk. I don't like to fighter bash but the kid needs to get his ass kicked badly. Absolutely no class.

I can see why he was angry though. If a guy is not willing to tap....and the ref isn't going to stop the fight, then all he has left to do is snap it, and it's not like he wanted to snap it.

Then he showed his displeasure by flipping him off. OK, probably not the best reaction, but seriously, I have seen a lot worse. Continue to punch him in the face like Sokoudjou did in his last 2 fights (previous to Minowaman) I find is much more disrespectful.

No one wants to be that guy who broke someone's arm like Mir or Steve Cantwell. You can't say absolutely no class because he was very respectful in shaking his hand before the fight (although from what I remember he was not as respectful in the press conference leading up to the fight) Just not as classy a guy as I thought....maybe douche doesn't translate well from Japanese to English and he has really been an asshole since day one.

Well I have heard that they 2 had a very badd blood, they talked too much shit to eachother.
I also did not like the reaction of Aoki, to see disrespectful fighters we already have Lesnar and many others in the UFC.

About the broken arm, it was not Aoki´s fault, his opponent was not taping, the ref was not stoping the match, so its normal that Aoki continued that submission.

Aoki vs Penn in the ground would be epic.

I tried to say the same thing in the discussion thread but your words are better. I also noticed the very friendly pre fight handshake. I think Aoki was upset the guy didn't tap. But still that was a strange way of showing it.

I'm not going make judgment on this, cause I'm sure there is some back story to why he did what he did and I don't know it. I will say Dynamite 2009!! was a truly amazing night of fights, very entertaining, I'm interested to see whats next for the Baka Savivah.

I'm pretty sure that the adrenaline of the fight and being pissed off at having to break the guys arm, has everything to do with it. It's like grappling with someone you already don't like, you get them in a sub and they don't tap. so obviously you have to let go, but if that happens, I'll never roll with them again. Especially if they think they got out of it, rather than you letting go.
