Werdum has beaten AO.
Any more brain busters?
rh | MMA math doesn't work in MMA dude. you shoudl know that. Styles make fights and AO has the skill set to beat Werdum. And I'm not even a big fan of Overeem because of what you said but I don't see Werdum doing it.

Alistair Overeem Wants Fedor Emelianenko in May or June

Translation:
AO: "I don't want to win anymore"
I agree that Werdum deserves it more and would be a better fight, but lets just get this one out of the way for Strikeforces sake. Let Fedor take the belt off of this guy please!

I really doubt Overeem fights Fedor his first fight back. StrikeForce needs to build him up first. I doubt the casuals even know who he is. Hell I didn't know he lost to werdum. And I'm an AO-holic

And I'm not even a big fan of Overeem because of what you said but I don't see Werdum doing it. | It's not MMA math when the fighters in question have already fought. Werdum has already beaten AO.
I'm not saying AO has absolutely no chance, I'm saying he's not as highly ranked as Werdum by anyone who knows jack shit about ranking.
I'm also saying Werdum's ground game is at least as good as AO's striking, but AO's ground game isn't even close to being as good as Werdum's striking, and Werdum transitions between the two far better than AO. Fabricio has gotten markedly better since their first fight; AO has gotten bigger, but not appreciably better.
Sure, AO has an excellent puncher's chance, and Werdum has been shown to have a vulnerable chin, so there is potential for AO to win...but anyone who currently has him ranked above Fabricio--in MMA--has their head up their ass.

rh | No doubt Werdum should be ranked higher and on the ground he's much better than Overeem, but Overeem is so big and strong I think it may be hard for Werdum to get him to the ground and if he doesn't get it to the ground, he's probably going to get nose kneed into his brain.
Overeem is a world class striker but he has a pretty good ground game and sub D. Not too sure about his TDD but I would bet it has improved. At this point, I have a feeling Overeem has a big advantage.
BTW: I forgot they fought already.

rh | But the hand injury was legit. He might have dragged it out a little, but I think its more due to safety then anything. If he fucked up his hand his career would be pretty much over. Can we give him the benefit of the doubt?

AO's hand is obviously fine considering how active he has been in K-1/Dream since october 2009. Since then he has turned down fight's against Werdum and Brett Rogers supposedly because his hand was broken. Well I do believe the injury was legit.......
....AO will not fight in the states because he does not have the confidence to fight off of the juice......if this is not painfully obvious to you,you are not being honest with yourself about Overeem and just another fanboy.

Since he won the title and "hurt his hand", he's had 7 fights for a different organization! If your hand is hurting that bad and you have a chance of ruining your career, then dont be fighting for other people! You're the Champ...you fight anyone that SF puts infront of you cuz thats your job! You dont get to pick your opponents because you dont find them worthy. Or any other reason if you're willing to fight for other people
