This is a good signing but I'm just not sure whether this is the same Gomi we were raving about a few years ago. Here's to hoping his head is in the right place because if it is....................well I still don't see him beating Penn. Now Gomi/Florian is something I'd be ecstatic about seeing, man that would be awesome. Make it happen Dana, Florian/ Gomi, but he prob. won't because of the future Japan card and they'll want to build Gomi's name here in the states also.

I think this is a good sign.. i'd throw somone like Sanchez at him to make sure he still got it. Nightmare would pressure him all fight and thats what we need to see from Gomi.

yea that was gomi but the decision was actually a no contest because diaz tested positive for pot after the fight

Step one is done. Now step two and three will determine if Gomi goes 3 and out or makes an impact.

Step two being, finding a good camp stateside.

Step three, fixing his ground game/cardio, which ties into step two I guess.

I'm kinda surprised to see this signing actually considering he got married earlier in the year when he took the break for it. Figured he was laying his roots and gonna stay in Japan. This could still be the make or break. If he doesn't find a camp stateside I can see him going 3 and out really quick in the UFC.
