I think JDS out strikes Kongo 9 out of 10 times. You have to remeber that JDS trains with Anderson, Loyto, and both Nog's... I would assume his chin is ok
As for the Alves fight WOW!!!!! That would be a brawl. |
GSP goes the distance as well and completely outclasses them every round 90% of the time. I didn't really mean fitch could finish him, just bring him back down to earth.
Fitch has been rocked by ALOT of good guys at WW. I think he could take a bit of punishment. He is a bit smarter than the average fighter these days. His head movement and patience has increased the pastyear or so. I stick by my assumption and yours that it would be a good three round decision fight.
Oh and I completely agree with you on JDS. I just want to see him put congo away and hopefully out of the UFC. I would like to see how he deals with straight punches that are not very wild with some decent reach coming his way. I like to collect and analyze some film on these guys and it would be nice to see a striking match. I think Congo would hold his own for a bit and most likely get G&P'd out.
Alves is a bit angry IMO and would really come out to hurt someone. It would just be an AMAZING fight, which I will call right now WILL happen at some point since both are relatively young and exciting to watch. This fight could happen like this past one. One gets the call on short notice for an injured replacement.

Yes even though they have fought before, it would be a a good two rounder IMO. One of them would survive till the second until Yvel takes him out.

And like someone else said hardy and Semtex train and grew up together so that ain't happening..but koscheck vs semtex probably will and someones gettin ko'd in te 1st. Dos Santos is the real deal and he should be goin up against top competition maybe carwin/Mir loser but I wanna see dos santos vs Kongo just cuz I like seein Kongo get put to sleep for some reason...stout/fisher 3 sounds good too! |

Ok first "he beat junie browning". R u serious? You have got to be the only one on the planet that cares about ANY junie fight. To add credibility to miller for a fight like that with browning is like watching the colts play a high school football team and being surprised they scored 297 points in the first half.
But with that said congrats to miller for a wonderful sparring point win.
Secondly Dan Lauzon is a nice guy and decently talented but is WEC gatekeeper material. I like his brother talent alot more but he is the typical undercard guy. He got caught in something 99% MMA would not have. Once again congrats to Miller.
The problem is his unwarranted cocky attitude in a win and division that he has no future with. He will never even get past a guy like Escudero, never mind a stout, fisher, dare I say Diaz or ANY other lightweight.
Cole Miller has the chin of a keebler saltine. To act like he "doesn't remember" getting caught is stupid. He should have at least congratulated his opponent and acknowledged the mistake. Instead he tried to be infinitely confident in a fight he almost lost because of his inexperience and lack of skill.
But don't let me deter u from hanging from his coconuts. Please continue without me.
