rd | Fedor and Mousasi are under contract. That's the only problem. They can't just say screw this I'm outta here. That's not how business works.
Dana isn't going to co-promote with M1 because it doesn't make sense so we just have to wait and hope Fedor doesn't start showing age first before Dana picks him up.

does anyone know if ir was UFC who started the new round of talks or was it M1 if it was UFC they are Open to Copromoting if it was M1 they realised they were retarts for even asking
I hope strikeforce stays around but it does bring up a good point that maybe the UFC is willing to bend over just to get rid of them and then oncenthey do they will control more of the market
I would much rather see M1 get fucked over then strikeforce

Funny how a little less than a year ago I remember Dana saying that he likes how Srikeforce is doing and that they are doing the promotions they way they should be and now hes aiming to take them down lol.

| M-1 Global exec says there's "absolutely zero communication" with UFC | MMAjunkie.com Quote:
Today, M-1 Global exec Jerry Millen told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that in reality, the two sides were having "absolutely zero communication."
"I called everybody in the company before I made this statement," Millen said. "I called (M-1 Global president) Vadim Finkelchtein and talked to him, and he said, 'Absolutely not. There's no correspondence with the UFC at all.'
"I think Dana, in a fantasy dream he had, he signed Fedor. That's probably the 'more recent than you think.' He's dreaming. He wants Fedor. His heavyweight division is a mess."

Of course, this is Jerry Millen...the same guy who was the last to know he was getting fired from PRIDEFC USA. Quote:

I bet he even removed them from his Myspace friends list. |

Completely agree, monopolies in sport don't do the athletes or in this case fighters any good, that's why i think there needs to be some sort of fighters union that if the UFC do fully monopolize mma that there will be something in place to protect the fighters.
And ye of course Dana is gona say hey i'm all for competition&i love what the strikeforce guys are doing when Affliction is his main concern, its just whoever is his main threat which is strikeforce now who have arguably become a bigger threat then affliction was. Dana may say that he cares about the sport&yeah he did help put it on the map but now that its on the map the UFC wants all that pie for themselves.
