| What's your opinion of UFC's course of action towards piracy?
We all know Dana White and the Fertittas plan on launching this crusade, but is it trivial? Will they change anything at all?
I highly doubt they can stop it to the degree where it is difficult to find their PPVs the day after and event. They have a case against the streaming sites such as the obvious Justin.tv but can they stop any of the file sharing? No way in hell. If the music industry can't touch the giant internet piracy monster then there's no way the UFC is going to put a dent in it. In my opinion, it's a fruitless crusade which could have the money spent on better things, like cheaper PPVs or higher fighter salaries for the newcomers. (4000 to show in the big show is shit all)
I do agree they have a case against the blatant streaming sites, if that's all they intend to take on then I support them. If it goes beyond that, then Dana White truly has a god complex.

They should improve a lot their shows if they want that all people pay 50 dollars.
And if they are going to make the same qualities of shows, then they shoudl make the PPVs 5 times cheaper.

I agree that they should be protecting their business, but they have to do something about the price if we are expected to order everyone of their PPV's.If you bought PPV every month it is going to be atleast 600 dollars a year, and sometimes they are putting on more then one PPV a month.I love MMA I will watch every UFC but I just can't afford to be paying for every single card.

what exactly is their plan? to shut down uncle ronnie's bar and tap in jersey? and make justin.tv give up all the ip's for their users? and then sue them too?

It's funny, UFC is stealing money from their fans by overcharging the ppv's and the fans fight back with illegal streams

im gonna go with everyone else and say they need to either put on less shows with more fights for the 50 bucks or lower the price... its just too expensive to buy every ppv they put on.

agree with cheaper ppvs. I'm a college kid and can't afford all the ppvs , let alone if any other companies (Strikeforce) start putting on ppvs, its too much money. 50$ that is every month for what they have been giving. Dana is just trying to get less people from jumping on the bandwagon of streaming and he is trying to make it scary for anyone thinking of it.

only way they can stop mma piracy is by getting a tv deal. fox, abc or cw.
i have a quote that i always follow. "why pay for it if you can get it or do it for free?"
