I'd like to see Roy against Gabriel Gonzaga or Cheick Kongo personally. i think either of those fights would be a good fight, test Roy against seasoned fighters. GG has great ground game and I don't think Roy would be able to just lay his fat belly on GG and defeat him like he does quite often, and not to mention GG's knockout power. Cheick Kongo has really good stand-up but not much of a ground game, if Roy were to get the win over CK it would be by his signature crucifix position.

I don't think Kongo is a good matchup IMO. His ground game is not solid enough to stop Roy if it goes there. I like the Roy and Buentello fight myself. I think Roy beats Struve too. I don't know....I think Roy will pull off some big wins. I don't think he will make a run at the title or anything, but I think he will pull off some victories.

A fighter who I'd really like to see Nelson in there with is Heath Herring, since he's so explosive and willing to fight anywhere and against anybody and I think it would be a fine measuring rod as to how Roy will match up against a solid gatekeeper. That is, if Herring even cares to fight anymore....
I think Gonzaga beats Roy anywhere this fight goes and is a pitchperfect example of the VAST differences between BJJ blackbelt skillsets, because Gabe is a freak on the ground, rather just never really has to rely on it. His striking is violent as well and would cause Roy more trouble than he can combat.
Even though Kongo's looked HORRID as of late, I'd still take him over Nelson based purely on his striking and size.
I think we'll see either Buentello or Yvel, so he can fight a striker who he can take down, and lay and pray with whilst slapping him on the head akin to what he did to Kimbo.

Big Country thinks he's all that and a burger king meal king sized then i say he can jump right in and go against Gonzaga or Dos Santos. Hell i wouldnt mind seeing him against the loser of Mir/Carwin or Cain/Nog.
It's not like Big Country is new to the sport so i dont see a point in giving him easy fights in Kongo or Buentello (these guys have no ground game and big country is good on the ground).

IMO ufc may try to build him up then bring him down i say McSweeney or Meathead then may move him up to a pat barry or struve, i doubt they throw him right into the frying pan with a kongo or dos santos

Hmm...Todd Duffee would be interesting to me against Big Country. Not a Big Country fan at all and Duffee is 260ish so maybe that will nullify the size difference. I hope they don't put him against a striker with no ground game because it will just end up more of the same. Nelson will just TD and smother his way to victory.

Roy vs Kongo would be interesting. Kongo has the advantage on the feet but would get subed on the ground. Its not like Roy has a great shot so he would have to get it to the ground first.
Roy vs Gabe could be entertaining. Gabe is a good striker and probably better on the ground.

He is a big good looking kid, who they could build up and market with a few wins. Maybe a fight with Country in a year or so.
