Whoever said that Struve would take down Big Country and sub hom easily might just be high. Roy is a black belt in Ju Jitsu and would out muscle Stefan anywhere the fight went. Roy would take him out with ease.

Gonzaga or Dos Santos IMO. I think he'd beat Gonzaga, not easily but maybe by decision.... and the Dos Santos fight would be pretty interesting - I'd def give the edge to JDS standing but Roy seems to have a pretty good chin and if it went to the ground despite JDS being more than capable there Roy is so big he may be able to keep him there and tee off on him.

Nelson is good in the ground but in the standup is awful, even Kimbo was giving him some troubles.
Kongo would murder Nelson in the feet, the problem is that he is very bad in the ground.

Dos Santos/Nelson would be absolutely pointless, because Junior would have nothing to win. Nelson is not a Top fighter and will never be.

I think Barry, Rothwell (if he loses to Mirko) or Buentello would be good opponents for him.

Big Country will destroy him in the first round, and then everybody is gonna have to buy a ticket for his bandwagon. I'm taking preorders now.
I just have to chuckle about Kongo and his awful ground game. Kongo might be the only heavyweight that Big Country could actually get his beloved crusifix on and peck, peck, peck away to a stoppage.

That is, if Herring even cares to fight anymore....

I think Gonzaga beats Roy anywhere this fight goes and is a pitchperfect example of the VAST differences between BJJ blackbelt skillsets, because Gabe is a freak on the ground, rather just never really has to rely on it. His striking is violent as well and would cause Roy more trouble than he can combat.

Even though Kongo's looked HORRID as of late, I'd still take him over Nelson based purely on his striking and size.

I think we'll see either Buentello or Yvel, so he can fight a striker who he can take down, and lay and pray with whilst slapping him on the head akin to what he did to Kimbo.
I was thinking the same thing man about HH, very good post, but i dunno when or if we'll see Heath again.

CK would be a great fight for Roy and it could potentially be a really good bang em up fight. I would love to see that fight, I really like Roy Nelson, he's a very good promoter and entertaining fighter.

And yes I agree with the person that said DW has it in for this guy and will probably feed him to someone like Dos Santos just so that he can receive the satisfaction of watching him get mauled.

But on the same note Dana could like Roy because he brings a fan base with him and is an entertaining fighter that fans relate too.

I dont think that ppl will under estimate Roy any longer though after that awesome knock out he had at the finale, that was textbook, a beautifully choreographed punch.
