I'd love to see Baba work his way back to another title shot. He hit chuck with a good right hand and Chuck jumped back to escate the onslaught, not becasue he was hurt, but becasue that is just what Chuck does when he gets hit so to avoid a barrage of punches after the initial one connects and babalu mistakenly though he had Chuck hurt and rushed in for the kill which ended up costing him a great chance at the title.

Chuck is just a bad match up for Babalu...id love to see Tito vs. Babalu, that would be a ground battle!

He also lost to randleman and I would bet the house on Shogun now. He was much thinner in that fihgt, not the same technical fighter he is now, skill wise he is similar to where he was then but he is much more patient now, is a technical fighter, phyicially would overpower Babalu now as opposed to their first fihgt where Babalu had the strength advantage and Shogun is much more experienced now.

I think Babalu would get KO rather quickly and easily.

Arona would simply own him, Lil Nog, ownage, wand, shogun, ownage ownage.

babalu vs nakumara would be exciting and babalu vs overeem could be exciting as well unless babalu fought aggressively like he did against Chuck in their last fight, it would be over with a a quick knee to the face adn good night for Babalu.

I don't like his chances against the top 4 MW (lhw) in PRIDE but would enjoy Nakumara vs Babalu.

Igor would also likely KO babalu.

I don't know why so many people underestimate Babalu. Yes he lost to Randalman, but so have a few others who shouldn't have. He also went the distance with Fedor. And he dominated Shogun. I think he'd do rather well against any orgs 205 class.

Babalu even said himself that when he faced Fedor, Fedor was a nobody and did not have the body or confidence he has now. Fedor would kill Bab now.

I think Bab is right up there, if he trained under Chute Boxe and improved his striking he would definitely go up to top 5 even top 3.

Babalu is a great fighter, but right now in the UFC it doesn't matter. He will never get another title shot until Chuck is gone or loses. So what will he do, just wait around? How many more fights would he have to win to get another shot? Maybe he should go to Pride for a few matches, get some different experience in the Pride ring with some fighters he hasn't faced. If he did this he could only improve his game. Staying in the UFC he will not be testing him,self like he would if he went to Pride for a while.

i'd hope ta see him fighting against someone @ ufc 67 or 68....most likely rashad evans. but i wonder if they would risk putting one of their lhw up and commers like evans with his perfect record in jeopardy against an opponent as dangerous as sobral. it would be a sick fight though.

After Ortiz gets dismissed by Liddel I would love to see Ortiz vs. babalu. i think Ortiz would end up getting submitted
