Huerta could work wonders for SF. The guy is very marketable and could beat up some no names on his way to number 3 in the division. Once he's there doesnt really matter if he loses to Thomson, Melendez or even Aoki (even thought I dont see why they would make such a matchup). Those guys are so hyped up it would only lead into a rematch. Hell he could lose twice to both Melendez and Thomson and still sit at number 3.

As for Barnet he did kill Affliction... if they sign him he needs to fight some unranked dude just to see if he comes up clean. SF can't take the chance to hype up a fight not knowing if its even gonna happen. Then again SF has been doing good, shouldnt risk negative media attention... you know I'm not sure CBS would enjoy hearing about a failed drug test. And when you think about, if Overeem can cross the ocean they dont even need Barnett.

If SF signed Josh, they wouldnt make the same mistake as affliction, the show would go on if he tested positive

I'll watch Huerta fight wherever he goes. UFC or SF it doesn't matter.

Strikeforce should stay away from Barnett. He's like a giant iceberg. Slow and destructive...to MMA promotions.
