The topic seems to be pretty popular with the word being thrown around alot, so I thought this might be interesting.

Post who you think (in the UFC) is(or should be) a legit Blackbelt. Now by Legit, i dont mean post every source to the 100 fighters that got them, I mean who do YOU think deserves theres, or who should have one?

Cole miller should have one(but IMO hes taking the proper route)
Nate Diaz should have one, but again IMO hes going about it the right way

Thats my UFC Blackbelt list, Im sure if I really sat down and thought I could make some changes but this is just a quick 5 minute list

Now I dont claim to know everything about MMA so im sure people will have their issues, but please post your list first before flaming mine

Least Favorite Fighters ever: Lesnar, Tito, Shields, Evans, Koscheck, Mir, Maynard, this new Anderson and Aoki.

I hate Lesnar now, I hated Lesnar then, I will always hate Brock Lesnar.

lol yeah a lot of thinking , but IMHO, and i'm no expert but I do take BJJ and have seen some crappy black belts, Nate Diaz, Big Nog, Penn. I just found a source that said Nate has his Blackbelt which I was unaware of. I thought he was a brown belt. If he isn't, he should be.

I'm fairly certain wikipedia is incorrect on this and Nate is a brown Belt. He is the best brown belt i've ever seen. lol

Found another source that says Nate earned his black belt. Here it is, it's a forum though so take it's for what it's worth.

May be once your a full time fighter working out 6 days a week, but theirs still way more to preparing for a fight then working on a BB. Nate isn't he under a Graci so I don't think or didn't think they just hand them out? I think the original MA doesn't always make a good MMA fighter, but the new form of black belt includes a mix thous the name MMA. Thoughts?
