I don't think they are keeping him safe at all. Ever since his first fight in the UFC he has fought VERY experienced guys. Heath, Frank Mir and Randy are all highly experienced fighters that he got thrown in with right from the get go.

And Brock Vs. Fedor has nothing to do with Brock's illness or the UFC protecting him in any way. The facts don't point to that conclusion at all IMO. The thing holding that fight back is unsuccessful contract negotiations between Dana and Fedor's management.

I'm assuming cards with title fights make more money on PPV. Just my opinion, Dana just wants that cake

Brock never tries to bring attention to himself. He's one of those backwood farm boys that enjoys privacy. Hes like a hermit but enjoys fighting (weird combination isn't it?)

Anyways I wish him a speedy recovery and if he feels like he can't come back and compete at the same level I would prefer he retire from the sport as champion.

Wonder who his comback opponent will be?

Would hate to see him lose the belt because he wasn't ready to fight/ring rust/still injured. I wonder if Dana will give him a warmup fight before throwing him back into the title scene to "protect" his cash cow. Don't see how he could do this, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Knowing Lesnar he would want to come back and defend his belt against whomever the number 1 contender is. Can you imagine the loss in sales and interest in him defending his title if he lost his warmup fight? Ouch

I wish him a speed recovery as well. Surely he has some great docs working on him. It wouldn't surprise me if this incident didn't make Brock come back stronger and more dominant--in the long run of course. No doubt he still has a long road ahead.

That's what I'm referring to. I think the whole he hasn't been 100% for a year thing is an exaggeration as well.

That statement is from the word of Dana White. Until I hear a statement from Brock's doctor, I don't believe it. Simple as that. I don't have to justify my opinion either. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who is going to tell me Dana White doesn't make false/exaggerated claims on a regular basis is in denial.

It isn't a matter of debate. White is an embellish'er' to the core.

It isn't anything against Brock. Hell, even he hasn't publicly stated what Dana has said. Nor has his camp for the matter. Just good old Dana saying that that is what Brock's Doctor basically said to Brock.
