| Randy Couture Says Brock Lesnar Is Back in Training http://www.cagepotato.com/randy-cout...-back-training Quote:
Well look who's getting name-checked on "Inside MMA." Ron Kruck references our story on Brock Lesnar's ongoing health issues before cutting to Randy Couture, who says he's spoken with Lesnar and things are looking up for the big man. If we can believe Couture (and he doesn't seem the like the type to just make stuff up -- that's Tito Ortiz's game), Lesnar is already back in the gym and ought to be Octagon-ready by this spring. We should probably treat this with the same healthy skepticism we had for "Comprido" Medeiros' assurance that everything was going to be just fine, but at least it's encouraging news.
Once again though, we can't help but wonder what's with all the secrecy. If Lesnar really is back in the gym and beating the hell out of poor Chris Tuchscherer again, why wouldn't he be cool with the world knowing that? Is this all part of an attempt to fake his own death just to get out of paying taxes? That's it, isn't it? That sly son of a bitch

I cant see no reason for Randy to lie, if its true, good news. I hope we get to see a 100% Brock ASAP, I hate when a fighter rushes back after an injury, illness etc so lets hope hes ready to be back in the gym.

Well, not to be all "I told you so", but I said this whole thing was likely to be an exaggerated situation. Dana says one thing, his camp says another. Brock says one thing, his camp says another. Now Couture is saying Brock is training.
It just seemed like there was some embellishing going on, specifically from Dana White.

I think ufc keeps the guy safe from losing, so when fedor is done with is last 2 fights for strikeforce, make the huge ppv on brock vs fedor. other thing is, steroid. look at Agassi, he stopped to play for a while in 1997, cause now he admitted that he used drugs.

I think Brock is wanting to go back to training like he was before, but his body isnt ready for that. Hes going to have to take it slow, and build himself back up. Can't wait to see him back, and for a Brock vs.Mir III.

It just seemed like there was some embellishing going on, specifically from Dana White. | That still doesnt mean hes coming back 100%. To me thats the real issue.
I have a feeling he wont be the same to be honest.

I really hope he can come back soon and healthy. I think even people that hate him can agree that he's entertaining.
To be honest I don't really want to see Mir/Lesnar III just yet, because 2 of his 5 fights have already been against him and 3 out of 6 fights seem a little too much. I'd like to see him go against somebody else like Big Nog or Carwin first.

Considering this time around he could have died in the hospital the chances on him coming back like he was before just isn't realistic (although not impossible).
If he came back and lost I wouldn't be at all surprised.
