I mean if Maynard can't look any better agaisnt Nate Diaz I don't like his chances at all against BJ. He looked sloppy and I had a hard time convincing myself thats he would make an interesting matchup for the LW belt.
But then again the guy as 7 straight wins. Even tho most of them are decisions and split decisions you can't look past what he's done. If anything, let him get schooled and learn from it. I just cant disagree with conterders getting their shot when they deserve it.

Gray isn't even thinking title shot at this moment as he had already stated in a post-fight interview (see MMANews main page) and after last nights mediocre performance, I don't blame him, because if he was B.J. Penn's next challenger, then he's going to get murdered, probably much worse than Florian and Diaz. Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind seeing the two fight, just not on PPV.
UFC needs to bring in other 155'ers (Aoki, etc etc) and bring them in fast because at this point and apart from an untested Gomi, their 155 division is rather low on actual competition for the current champ.

Maynard would bully Edgar again, though. Makes no sense for a rematch between them. It'll be like watching a replay of their first fight. That said, now imagine what B.J. Penn is going to do to Edgar.

The discussion isn't whether Gray should get a shot, its the lack of competition for BJ at lw. All I can say is Frankie vs BJ better not be a headliner
