I'm not sure if this is the reason he was so pissed, but I remember before the fight he was also very angry he had to take the fight in the first place. He claimed the fight was an insult to himself and his family. He had already set his heart on the fight with Kawajiri.
Check this from the K1 website. Kawajiri and Aoki livered! These matches will be off the wall! : NEWS | K-1 OFFICIAL WEBSITE
There was a ton of shit talk from Aoki about this fight. He also claimed he didn't even know who the Sengoku champ was. That MUST have been meant as an insult since Hirota won his belt by beating Aoki's friend and team mate.

Rage and adrenaline? Come on...you know how much rage and adrenaline Ray Lewis has when he stuffs the hole at the goal line or comes in untouched and blasts the QB? A shit load. Does he celebrate...hell yes...if the player is down unconscious or writhing in pain does he stand over him flip him off and laugh at him. No. He even said PREGAME that he was gonna end Rashard Mendenhalls season last year, he then preceded to break his shoulder in a head on tackle and then was first to call out the medical team and check on his opponent. This is just a long winded example of adrenaline being a lame ass excuse for ones actions. If your a dick when your full of adrenaline and pumped up...chances are your a prick when you watching tv with your friends too.

Well,at least he didnt...
1- Keep breaking the guys arm.
2- Punch him after the ref called it.
3- Slam his sponsors, or people who wouldnt.
4- Flip off the crowd as he locked in the sub.
5- Swear and flip off the press, and get escorted out.
Could of been much worse. Not a big issue that he flipped the guy off.

Its not the sport that dictates ones actions as a person, its the persons character. Fedor has been slammed in the head, suplexed on his neck and turned the fight around immediately and finished his opponent in spectacular fashion. Did he flip shit and act like 13 year old? He raised his arm, shook his opponents hand and moved on. Was he not pumped up or "full of adrenaline". Controlling that adrenaline is part of the game

I hope this isn't the decline of Aoki as a fighter. Hes mad young and crazy skilled. I also hope this wakes him up and makes him a more mature person overall.

I don't care that he ran around giving the finger. I don't care that he broke his arm. What I care about is him laughing in the face of his hurt opponent with his finger outstretched.

This isnt the first time somebody has had a limb broken by someone else in MMA. This isn't the first time there was trash talking before a fight. This isn't the first time somebody was unhappy about the fighting someone. Those are not vaild excuses. It was a jacked up move, and completely classless. Heres to Kawajiri knocking Aoki off his perch.

What I care about is him laughing in the face of his hurt opponent with his finger outstretched. | I suggest that you watch Karate tournaments, then, or any that relates to 'just' martial Arts. A lot of MMA fighters aren't as respectful and disciplined as actual Martial Artists, be it Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, Tai Chi, etc etc. I say a lot and not every. Point in case, the adrenaline in MMA fights is crazy high compared to Martial Arts tournaments. Heck, even whilst just training (MMA, Boxing, Wrestling), the blood flow rises really fricking quick. Now, I'm not saying that I justify Aoki's antic's, I'm just saying maybe you're watching the wrong sport.
It's easy for us to sit here and judge people such as fighters, but try being in their shoes and have to read half the shite you lot type about them. Which have nothing to do with Aoki, but I'm just saying, it's a whole differen't world there compared to here.
