He took him down TWICE.

The only "gameplan" I saw was a Chuck that looked motivated and actually used his wrestling skills for a change. If all Chuck did was lay on him, I'd say your post had some intelligence.

I've seen the fight several times, but none that recently. As I recall, Wandy was never seriously hurt, but Chuck got rocked bad once. Chuck just outscored Wandy being the superior counter striker, and the takedowns didn't hurt either.

Anyways, I had no idea who Jay Silva was, and I didn't catch this fight with Leben. Its annoying hearing fighters bitch about being taken down tho. Its a legitimate way to score points, if they just want to stand they should compete in K-1 or boxing.

mma #1 fan is right. How anybody could think the current UFC MW Champion would want a rematch with Leben is insane. Anderson defeated Chris decisively, so why the heck would he want a rematch? lol, crazy.

I'm with the grain, Jay Silva is acting like a little girl. Something I hate to say of fighters but come on, guy. Then again, he's probably taking cheap shots at Leben to impress UFC management. Regardless, this ain't Boxing. Who cares what was Leben's gameplan? This is MMA. And I'm curious, was their fight even aired? I must've missed that part of UFN 20..

Wandy was never seriously hurt? Oh lord. But yet Chuck was rocked badly once? You are just as high as the other guy when it comes to that fight. Please watch the fight again. Wandy was beaten in every aspect of the fight. I love Wandy but he was outclassed.
