I like the idea of 235. However, 265 would become a very small division. There would be like Carwin, Mir, Gonzaga, Lesnar(if he can put on weight again), Rothwell, and maybe a few other guys. It would totally breath new life into the smaller HW's though, which I think would be great. Even though the original post was about 195, I think Velasquez or Big Nog would be the 235 lb champ.

At 195, I think Anderson Silva wins it no problem if he wants. Vitor Belfort would do very well, so would Franklin and Wanderlei. I think Machida could make it no problem if he really wanted to, since he rarely even weighs 205 pounds at weigh ins.

225 was a better number for that weight class, Then u wouldnt have that issue.

any of the big dogs at 185 could run things there. anderson or hendo would have the run of things give the opportunity... but 195 could be the last glitter of hope for guys like franklin or wandy

I think the UFC should give Chuck the side road to the title, not up the middle like they were before. Randy beats Coleman. Machida beats Rua. Randy and Machida fight for the title.During that Chuck beats Tito, then goes on to beat Coleman. And hopefuly, Randy beats Machida, and Chuck challenges Randy. Chuck KO's Randy and regains his title. Also during that time, Forest rematches with Rua, and beats him again. Forcing a Chuck vs. Forest for the title. OMG are you confused yet? Chuck KO's Forest. Also during this Rampage beats Rashad, and faces Rua. Rashad and Tito rematch. Drooooool.

How would it be logical to make a weight class at 195 when there is 20 pounds difference between middleweight and light heavyweight? Creating a weight class where there is 60 pounds difference between light heavy and heavy is way more practical. Guys like Dos Santos or Velasquez would be champions, guys who have champion level talent but will never reach full potential because there not true heavyweights. This would give the lighter heavyweights a chance to compete and not give up a significant weight advantage every fight, and create a marketable champion in the process

drop 205 to 200 instead of making a 195. 155-170-185-200 all fifteen pound increments.
