Ever since I heard that Brock was considering MMA, I was interested. Now, I'm not sure he'll ever be a MMA headliner (That takes years of training and dedication) but, given brocks size, speed and wrestling (amature) background, he could probqably hold his own against mid level talent. He'll probably make a few highlight reels before running into someone who simply out skills him in either of the key departments, srtking or ground game.
I'll defintaly tune in to see what happens.
Along the same lines of tought (pro wrestlers turning to MMA), How many saw Sean O'Haire get tunned by Butterbean in Pride Real Deal? I really though that Sean would make a better showing. I mean really... why the hell would anyone out wieghed by 150+ pounds clinch with his opponent? Makes me think that Sean was just there for a paycheck and trying not to get hurt.

C'mon guys. He is a good athelete, not a great tough guy. I don't see this going well if Lesnar is ever stupid enough to get in the ring with a real MMA fighter

Just to clear some things up....
Brock Lesnar signed with K-1 Hero's back in the summer. He has been training with Minnesota Martial Arts Academy under Greg Nelso who is coach to Sean Sherk as well as been training with the University of Minnesota Head Assistant wrestling coach, Marty Morgan. After he announced he would be fighting in February 2007, Royce Gracie announced that he would be Lesnar's trainer.
I think this first fight he has in Feb will tell us a lot on how well Lesnar will probably do. I have no doubt he has the endurance, strength and wrestling down solid but its the rest everyone will be waiting to see. If it were MMA, I wouldnt expect to see Brock standing much, he'll be going to the ground looking for submissions or GnP. I'm not real familiar with K-1 Hero's rules so I'm not sure what his strategy will be. Ill research it unless someone posts on it first.

| Nightmare for...
Tim Sylvia would not want to be in the Octagon with this monster...the only reason he is HW Champ is that there is no one to challenge him...[another thread]

It'll be interesting to see how big Brock is once he's off the juice, that guy's a monster right now.

I don't think that Brock is on roids, he is just a naturally big guy. I've seen pics of him when he was like 16 and he was huge back then. Just a big farm boy who likes to hit the weights. And keep in mind that he probably got tested several times while wrestling at Minnesota.
