Yeah, he 'just got caught' against Rashad, Rampage and Shogun. How many nast KOs do you have to suffer before you stop 'getting caught' and start getting 'chinny?'
Although to be fair, all those shots (and including the overhand right from Jardine that dropped him) were big time punches that landed on the button. The problem is, Chuck's reflexes aren't there anymore to avoid those kind of shots. He's not landing counter-shots like he used to because he 's not fast enough to exploit the opportunity, and he's getting caught with counter-shots because he's not fast enough to get out of the way.
Chuck should beat Tito. But where the fuck does he go if he
doesn't? I mean, you lose to the guy you smashed twice? Who's left for you then, the loser of Bonnar/Soszynski?
And even if he does beat Tito, I don't think he has the ability to scrap his way to the top of the mountain against the current crop of killers at 205. He is, in my opinion, too old and too banged up.
Although come to think of it, I would be stoked if he could prove me wrong; one more crusade for the iceman would be a helluva cap to a great career.
