Thats BJ trademark. We already have one blood licking beast.
Maybe he could take his fallen foes blood and wipe it across his chest as a badge of domination.

IMHO, I think Kenny takes this with an easy RNC 1st. Gomi has not been the same since the Diaz fight and Kenny is by far the best lightweight outside of the Dream lightweights and BJ

If Gomi comes in his "Pride" shape I think he can give a lot of troubles to Florian, but Flo is very very strong. It all depends in which shape Gomi is going to come. Pride Gomi defeats Kenny.

However, it would be great if Gomi won because that's the "in" the UFC could use to really start to crack the Japanese MMA market.
Imagine if somehow, Gomi beat Florian and got fast tracked to BJ... and beat him! The Japanese MMA public would welcome the UFC with open arms if a countrymen was the LW Champ!
Probably not going to happen though but, that scenario would really change the MMA landscape between the US and Japan. | gomi is no guida. gomi is well rounded and is not all about bump and grinding.
in another note. i really hope gomi runs through florian PRIDE STYLE, beats whoever else and gives us a war against bj!

Not likely.... 1st round KO can happen to anyone but Florian is a seriously solid fighter, the best Gomi has fought in a good little while actually. It will be a solid test. I do kinda feel the need to point out though that this is not in Japan and there will be the drug testing which may not work in Gomis favor. While not trying to imply positively that Gomi has roided in the past, I have seen him go into what looked like a sever case of roid rage a couple of times. It was brutal after the fight just pounding dudes out.

.....imo this is a bad business decision for the UFC if Gomi loses, which likely will happen unfortunately. If Gomi loses, does he just get cut?....I'm thinking Gomi said I want a title shot, and Dana said ok fight the second best LW we have and you got it.
....I would have had Gomi fight Sam Stout,Joe Daddy or both then fight BJ......oh well it will be a damn good fight.

Gomi really does have to finish KFlo, not only to live up to the hype (which I think he deserves) but to put some scare into Penn. I hope Gomi isn't another one of those "IWANTBJSBELT" opponents for Penn, because I've been behind Gomi since his first BUSHIDO.

hopefully gomi wins, but i doubt he will based on recent fights. should be a good fight if gomi doesnt gas. have no interest in gomi vs penn 2 though, penn would make him look worse than last time.
