i think diaz vs gsp would be a great fight. and yes i think nick would have a chance to catch gsp. i think vs anderson silva would be a fun match up. i think silva wins in high light reel KO but it would be more entertaining to watch than silva vs leites or even cote. diaz wouldnt punk out and he would stand and fight. as far as nick vs bj??? not a chance. bj would destroy him. bj vs anderson would be a better fight cuz silva wouldnt hold him for the first round like gsp.

I would love to see Diaz vs. GSP but not so much Silva there's plenty of good WW fights for him anyway like Alves or Fitch woud be awsome

GSP would give Nick serious problems and would completely dictate where the fight took place. If Alves, Penn, Hughes and Koscheck couldn't stuff GSP's takedowns there's no way Nick is stopping them. On the ground GSP would be smart enough to be patient with his ground and pound and smart enough to avoid any submissions like he did against Penn. The question wouldn't be if GSP could beat Diaz it's how bad could he beat him. With an incredible chin and gas tank, it's damn hard to stop a Diaz. That said, with the rate GSP is disposing of WW contenders, this match up almost makes sense.

i really dont see diaz giving gsp or bj problems to be honest.
i have alot of respect for diaz, gr8 fighter, but.
lets be honest, gsp will take him down, Easily, and avoid submission and ground and pound him out with elbows and knees to the body serra style.
and bj, hrmm mb he does have somewhat a good matchup there, but only in the sense that if he continually brings it maybe bj will tire, but he hasent been tiring of late.
if you have 2 guys who like to slug but 1 being potentially slightly not as good but has more power, i think the power wins in the end. and bj has more power than nick,nick wont submit bj, and bj mb wont submit nick, but he will be the dominant force on the ground
silva i wont even bother goin into cos noway in hell does he beat the spider.

Penn is similar to Diaz in height and weight but has superior striking and bjj. Gsp tooled Penn. Silva would tool Gsp. The end.

I like your thinking, on a side note you gotta love Nick no matter what the outcome of the fight. I would like to see the showdown between him and GSP, but Anderson would straight kill him.
