If this fight happens it will be in the running for fight of the year. Forrest is right though. Nog doesnt have a big name in the UFC and is handfull against any LHW in the division. Also you have Forrest trying to put himself as the underdog. Most casual fans dont really know how good Nog is.

i think the ufc are using this fight to give lil nog exposure personally,they know lil nog needs to be built up, and what better way to do it, than have him fight and probably beat forest, whos a bit of a fan favourite.

not only his fights are great, but his modesty is great too. i still think griffin is going to run away with this. with his fight against shogun i figured shogun would finish him in 30 seconds, that wasn't the case, but we will see.

I dont know how anyone can like him because he talks shit about himself.
One thing is to be humble and another thing is to be like he is, if he thinks that he is a trash and wont do a shit against Nog then why he will accept the fight? To show the fans that he has a lot of guts? Please....

I don't think Forrest said anything that wasn't factually accurate. Nog does have striking (power and skill) and submission advantages over Griffin, but is perhaps less well-versed in wrestling. That's not a big advantage because as we all know Griffin isn't a dominant wrestler.

Griffiin always plays down his chances. It's just part of his schtick.

Just because you publically said you would lose that matchup doesn't lesson the effect of the loss. As far as his quality wins go, his win against Shogun had a lot more to do with Shogun's knee than Griffin's skill. His wins over Rampage and Tito are still debated.

Yes you can say that wasn't a complete Shogun, but whats Rampages excuss, underestimating someone is his own fault. Tito can right a book with all of his reasons for the loss
