Same thing for Tito-Chuck...mostly because I have no desire seeing Tito or Chuck facing any legit LHW contender...so them fighting each other isn't bad at all. But if they main event, that would be horrible.

Is it technically fighter bashing to hate on Tito? He seems to do more talking than fighting so I wanted to ask before I unload?

As you can see people love to hate on Tito. One of his main points is that he gets people to care one way or another. He has a love/hate relationship with the fans and one of the worst things that can happen is to have fans that don't respond to anything you do.
As long you can get people fired up enough to see you either dominate or get your ass kicked youre doing the right thing because youre putting asses in seats.
3 key points here:
- He made valid points about holding out to get a good contract. Hes very business savy.
- Tito has done a lot for the sport. This is also undeniable.
- He always generates some kind of response from the fans. To this day his name is still popular and people are willing to pay to see him fight.
Love him or hate him it is what it is.

You can legitimately argue that Tito and Randy have done more than anyone else to improve fighter pay.

I didn't bother reading beyond the title, but I'm confident that somewhere down in the Mississipi Delta, there is a 90 year old blues man who is complaining that the Beatles and the Rolling Stones made millions off of what he created...
...and that tomorrow is still going to be Wednesday. Quote:

You are not alone in your lack of interest. Six months ago, I would have bet good money that they couldn't do anything to make TUF worse, but I would have lost that bet. Then, given an opportunity to go double-or-nothing, I would have lost again.
Tito hasn't been relevant in going on six years now, and another stint on that horrible reality show isn't going to change anything.

The rule of thumb I go by is this: If it's just a story about a fighter, and someone comes in ripping them apart, that's fighter bashing...
But, if a fighter does or says something stupid, like many have over the past two weeks, then they brought it on themselves.
Thats just me though, I've gotten some infractions for it lol.

I think Tito is confusing himself with Randy Couture. The reason everyone is making so much more money isn't because of Tito, it's because of Randy holding out.
When Rampage came over from Pride, he wasn't making as much as Mirko.....I fight, flat rate deal.....he got a little less than the Royce Gracie special contract.
UFC 62, Chuck vs Babalu, chuck got $250,000 to beat Renato....that is more than half the total cards payout (total payout was $407,000.....8 fighters made less than $5000)
UFC 61, had 4 fighters make over $90,000. Tito Ortiz: $210,000; Tim Sylvia: $120,000; Ken Shamrock: $100,000; Andrei Arlovski: $90,000
UFC 60, had Matt Hughes vs Royce Gracie.....one of the worst spectacles, and Royce Gracie made $400,000
UFC 57 had Chuck Liddell making $250,000 and Randy Couture making $225,000
In my mind it was Randy, and actually Ken Shamrock that got the fighters making more money than they did before....not Tito. Tito may have been more outspoken about it, but Ken was a bigger draw back then and Randy was the fighter that stood up for the other fighters to make them more money.
