Default What happened with Uno vs Penn at 41
I read that those two were suppose to be fighting for the new UFC lightweight title, and the match ended in a draw. SO does that mean that they just threw the title out of the window.

exactly, but i think penn should have won that fight. but it was very close.

Ya it pissed me off. They just said fuck the belt when BJ said he wanted to fight Matt after the draw. Yves was the "ünbelted" LW Champ til he lost to Homminick. Then it was up in the air..... So the UFC gave Sherk and Florian a shot???>....??




BTW the belt was vacant when they fought.

Neither one of them were champ before the fight so you can't crown either the champ if neither guy won the fight. If one of them were champ prior to the fight and it ended in a draw then he would retain his title.
