Umm Fedor has a loss and it does count. Like Yves Edwards said after his cut stoppage at UFC 61, "A cut is something you have to defend, and is part of the fight"

but elbow against fedor was an illegal elbow, not a legal strike.
Accidental, but first strike of fight, i don't think anyone can count this as a loss even if its on his record. Eapecially since elbow stikes are not allowed in rings. http://fedor.bel.ru/video/index_eng.shtml

fedor is considered widely to be undefeated....no one has KO, Submitted him, or beat him by decision...he's only lost to that cut and it doesnt really count....losin to cuts are bullshit in my opinion

Frank Shamrock had an undefeated streak once he entered the UFC, including becoming champ and giving Tito Ortiz his most conclusive loss, at least up until his fight with Chuck. He'd been defeated before that, but once his streak started, it lasted for awhile.
Bas Rutten has a similar record. A few losses early on, but once he got his momentum going, he wasn't defeated for the rest of his career.
Fedor's the closest thing to a truly undefeated top competitor.

Fedor by far. The TK fight dont count.. If the fight kept going Fedor would have won somehow. He's not programmed to lose.

Gilbert Melendez is undefeated at 11-0 and currently the Strikeforce LW champ. He's recently joined PRIDE and is 1-0 there with a win over Nobihiro Obiya, who's a training partner of Takanori Gomi. Melendez has a bright future, but it will be very tough for him to stay undefeated in PRIDE will all their great LW.

Frank Shamrock wasn't undefeated when he entered UFC, he lost a few times in Pancrase and to John Lober at Superbrawl.
You can say that Fedor has never been beaten in a fight but he isn't undefeated, there is a slight difference between never being beaten and undefeated. A loss is a loss, no matter how lame of a loss that it is.

Yeah, I said that Frank had been beaten before. My point was that AFAIK he didn't lose a fight since he entered the UFC. He'd lost before, but he had an undefeated streak once he joined the UFC.
