If it's true hopefully Chael can get medically cleared if need be and have an eight week camp and then get in there and get dominated.

I'd love to see Sonnen fill in for Vitor, I have no interest in the Vitor/Anderson fight because I do not agree with training partners, family, or friends fighting eachother. Vitor did not really deserve the title shot anyway, yes he's on a heck of a roll and there aren't many other contenders but wow, one fight at 190 against someone Anderson has already smashed twice and you get a shot? Eh.

Anyway, chances are they will just push the fight back more and wait for Sonnen or Belfort to heal up, which sucks. Anderson is going to have so much ring rust. I say have Anderson either fight Maia, yeah, not the most deserving but he did tap Sonnen in the first round. Or, move up to 205 once again and take on Couture. Yes, I said it! That'd be a superfight and if Anderson is ever going to lose I think it will be to a wrestler who also has sufficient stand-up and a solid ground game to boot, ala Randy.

I think the rule of thumb is 1% per day to heal properly, so unless he wants to roll the dice with it, he's looking at 3 months, minimum.
