This is huge!!! wow. Why would he leave M-1 unless he planned to sign with the UFC? hmmm. I thought he would stick with them since he had the freedom to fight as many cans between big fights and the make the biggest bucks. Wasn't he just saying he likes being able to fight as many times as possible all year round? Well maybe the UFC called and made him an offer he couldn't refuse...
Anderson vs Mousasi would be insanity....
I will feel bad for Hendo if Mousasi jumps ship though.

If its Ed Soares I am jumping off my balcony.

I think that we will see him in the UFC. Anyone know how many fights are left on his contract?

The only thing that would suck about him being in the UFC is that he wouldn't be able to go rape Dream tourneys

He has said that he would like to go to UFC, he is no longer in M-1, he has just 2 fights left in his contract, he plans to fight a lot of times this year.
I think all that means that in some months he will be in UFC.

Maybe he just caved in to the pressure of all the fans saying "you're garbage if you aren't in the UFC!".

I think that Moussasi has his plans and think that with M-1 some of those plans would not be possible (fighting in UFC for example), so that is why he left.

Edit: Here it is... Quote: |
Mousasi's first Strikeforce contract, which was inked this past August following the collapse of Affliction Entertainment, bound him to the promotion for two fights (a savvy move for an in-demand prospect). He fulfilled the first by railroading Renato "Babalu" Sobral for the 205-pound title at "Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg." The second is planned for a fight with Lawal in the second installment of "Strikeforce on CBS" in mid-April.
