Maybe I'm just ignorant or out of the loop, but what's shaping up for the UFC 67 card? Most of the champions will have fought relatively recently. From what I hear, the Silva/Lutter fight will happen then...you guys think they'll have the WW title match too? Its kinda soon, but Dana had Hughes fight twice within three months, so anything's possible.

They announced at the UFC 65 post fight press conference that both the TUF 4 title fights would be taking place on this event. GSP just had a long layoff between the Penn and Hughes fights, so having another fight right away isn't that big of a deal.

Nope, not when you didn't take any damage worth speaking of in the fight before.

Hopefully we'll get to see a handful of other great fighters too. It'll be a long layoff from now until that event.

Franklin is returning on 68, and Lister is fighting Marquardt on the Fight Night on Spike TV on Jan 25. Vera is going to Kick Silvia's ass (hopefully) on UFC 68.

unless they load 67 with a lot of good undercard fights, it's could be a very boring PPV.

they are going to have to. we all know that sera is going to get demolished. i think most everyone feels the same about lutter. even though 2 belts are on the line, they are going to have to stack it with some intersting fights. i expect to see swick fighting someone on the card. and you can expect to see a lot of the up and coming lw's duking it out as well. i'd like to see a fisher vs. guillard or something in the likes of.

I would mind seeing Sherk fight but having three title fights on one PPV would mean having either Chuck vs. Forrest (probably ) or Vera vs. Timmah at 68 (which they could probably pull off if Franklin returns). But of course Dana is counting on the TUF season to drive up PPVs and we'll probably get at least a couple TUF fights and two title defenses at 67. We might see Vera and Timmah and Sherk and whoever at 68 though since I doubt chuck would fight again that quickly with the UFC not having a lot of fighters to throw against him. But after Vera fights Timmah they dont really have anyone else for the heavyweight champ so they're probably holding off on that fight as well. Of course if Vera wins, then we'll see a couple rematches and yada yada yada 2007 season will be over.
