Is anyone looking forward to the IFL 2007 season?
Is anyone looking forward to the IFL 2007 season? I've been watching as much as I can on Rogers Sportsnet and I'm loving it. I really like the different take on MMA, the team aspect is really smart and I really like the best 3 out of 5 concept. The fights are really competitive and great entertainment.
I'm looking forward to seeing who is on this new Russian team. The Russians are always intimidating fighters and it will be great to see a team assembled in each weight class.
Also it will be fun to see the team of fighters that Ken Shamrock puts togeather as well. It will interesting to see what type of fighters he will pick to represent his team. Hopefully he does a good job coaching the guys and show us that TUF was not all ture.
I know that all the fighters are not well know and don't get the hype the UFC guys get, but they are still great fighters with a lot of potential. I don't care who they are, as long as the fighters are skilled and put on a great show.
I hope that the IFL really improves by leaps and bounds this year. Hopefully we see a belt established in at least one of the weight classes.
Here is a list of all the teams for 2007.
