Rumor has it that Frank Mir has packed on even more size, and is now walking around at 290 pounds.

He also would like to make Brock the first person to die of Octagon related injuries...

"I want to fight Brock Lesnar. I hate who he is as a person."

"I want to break his neck in the ring. I want him to be the first person that dies to Octagon-related injuries."

Thats from an interview he did with WXDX radio.

I personally have got the general idea that Mir does not like Brock and wishes to put a beeting on him, thats the same thing we have been hearing for a while now. Whats crazy though is if he really is at 290 pounds, that will make Mir vs. Lesnar III that much more exciting.

With that said....wouldn't it be ironic if Mir were to break his neck in the octagon. Mir vs Kongo Mir was bigger....but he had some Barnett chub on him

I don't think the extra size will help him with Brock. What makes Lesnar so special is that as big as he is, he's fast and quick with good cardio.

LOL! Mir is a funny guy... If he is 290 then it will be interesting to see if he can keep endurance from the cut because Brock has been this size for a long time so he knows how his body handles the cut... if Mir cant handle the cut then all of the pounds he put on is really for nothing..

that being said if he is fine then this could mean Mir actually stands a decent chance of winning not his 15% of getting a sub off.. in the second fight Brock planted his hand on Mirs neck/chest and Mir couldnt move it for the life of him and that is what kept him in that God awful position.. so with this extra weight he might be able to move Brock and create some openings.. so IF he put this weight on and IF his body can handle the cut i would put his chances around 35-40%

It doesn't matter because he still doesn't have Brocks power, speed, his wrestling nor his athleticism. Mir is going to have to do more than gain weight to beat Lesnar.
