| "Jobbers"
I read a lot of complaining about lack of new fighters and lack of old fighters it made me think. Does the UFC for example, keep anybody around who really doesn't deserve it, ala "jobber". A guy who always loses but always puts up a good fight. You lose 2 fights your done, well what if that guy was just kept around as a punching bag? And then imagine if he pulled out a win.

I think they should keep thoes guys because not everyone can be a champion and in the end it is about making money and if the guy is good on an undercard and is entertaining, I say keep him he is doing what he loves doing everyone is making money and it keeps a larger pool of fighters. Plus maybe they will get better in all thoes fight you think.

Sure they do. As long as you put up a good fight and are entertaining they will keep you. Riggs is a good example. He doesn't win all that often but he comes to fight.

Tank Abbott, Kimo, Nick Diaz, Cabbage. They've been doing this for a long time. I think most of the TUF fighters fall into this category.

Sinosic, Riggs, Diaz were all good examples. but i prefer the term "stepping stone" because "jobber" is a prowrestling term. those guys are paid to lose LOL
