this is a good example of taking care of your fighters and giving them a chance. something that for the most part i feel the zuffa run ufc has always done. you could make a case that they havent (rampage, randy, ect) but those guys in all honesty already get paid good. its nice to see when it comes to the guys trying to break in or not making as much that they are willing to cut them a deal like this.

Love it! Great job Dana. This guy deserved it for sure. Lots of heart and I can't wait to see what he can do this time around.

Well he couldnt do anything with Mirko, he has not a good record and he has zero wins against someone important. I think he wont fight all the 4 fights.
And Jardine should be released, he loses almost always. And his loses are like this: He gives a decent performance and loses in the 3rd round or by desicion, in his next fight he gets KOd in a couple of minutes, and its always like that. In his last 7 fights he is 2-5

He stepped up and stepped wayyyy up. Good for him and I am glad he got signed. I hope we see him step up again and fight to be a reasonable contender.

I hope that Igor Pokrajac isn't toast like the article says. He messed up that Te Huna guy, but had a horrible gameplan and gassed me than me after a visit to Taco Bell.
Good for Anthony, supposedly he has sick BJJ and teaches down under. They were saying stuff about it during the Te Huna fight.
Oh ya, and he better be moving to LHW.....or he better start training with Overeem and eating horse burgers.

Classy move.
Perosh showed some major stones taking CROCOP on two days notice and fighting in his homecountry too boot must've been pretty nerveracking. And I'll say this, Perosh took a shitkicking and kept on ticking and looked quite capable of maintaining a fight against a lesser foe or within a gatekeeper situation. Not like he'll be a main eventer, but he did a gutsy thing and deserves some rep for it. However, I still think Crocop had a broken foot, because he was simply unwilling to unleash any kicks at all, which surely would've ended the fight about a day and a half sooner.

Good for him. And nice to see Dana make the classy move. For all the Evil Empire crap talk about Dana and the UFC they do the best job of taking care of their fighters.

Why does he fight at heavyweight again? He's 216 pounds that's about the size for a light heavyweight. Forrest Griffin walks around at 225 and cuts to 205. If Perosh is going to stick around in the HW division with guys like Lesnar who cut from 290, he's going to get his ass handed to him every time.
