lol and true Vitor would KO him IMO...Vitor boxing is just fast and accurate.

I actually want to see this happen. Wandy is my favorite fighter and would love to see get a chance to redeem that lose, mind you i would have rather seen it in pride but still. I think Silva has a good chance, i never count him out, he def. has the ability to beat Vitor. When Wandy beats Akiyama i think he will start to get into contention and the rematch may happen. I personally hope it does and i am betting on Wandy.

If Wanderlei wants to fight for the title again someday a matchup with Belfort next would be his quickest way to do that and he's not getting any younger! He CAN beat belfort. I would say 4times out of 10. This matchup is the most likely scenario for both fighters anyway. win/win for the UFC.

I think this fight has great potential and welcome it with open arms.... In no way am i saying that Wanderlei would just dominate Vitor, but there seems to be a lot of Vitor love out there and I out of line when I say that it may be a little unwarranted? I mean seriously, he barley beats Rich, and has one other decent name(not in my opinion) in Matt Lindland. You have to go back to 2002 to see the next big win in his career against Heath Herring, and no I'm not counting the Randy fight because that is plain BS. I understand that Wand hasn't had the greatest luck here lately but his list of opponents pummels Belfort's easily! Especially in the last 4 or 5 years. IMO, Wanderlei needs this fight to avenge the demons of his UFC past and get on to the next pinnacle of his career.

There is a lot of Vitor love out there for sure, but to say he barely beat rich is kind of lame, he went in there and quickly crushed him, and I feel he would do that over and over again had they fought more then once. I love Wanderlai, I think he's awesome, but i also think Pride was his playground.

Vitor's still fairly young, he's got crazy fast hands and rediculas knockout power behind them. This is a heavyweight fighting at Middleweight, and I can't see wandy winning this fight. If they fought in Pride a couple years ago I'd favor Wandy, but not in the UFC.

Long story short I want this fight to happen badly. In fact I think this fight needs to happen. This gives Belfort a chance to actually earn his title shot. As for Wandy, if he wants to own the Middleweight title then he has to come out and fight top contenders, either he does it now or he does after he wins the title. Either way its gotta happen.
