| Antonio Silva possibly fighting either Brett Rogers or Andrei Arlovski in April Bloody Elbow - Pound-for-Pound the Best in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Commentary, News and Community Quote:
And graciemag.com:
Antonio Silva - "They called me to fight on March 22, but that would be really cutting it close. It would be against Josh Barnett and left it up in the air. The focus remains on April, at Strikeforce (against Brett Rogers or Andrei Arlovski), which is likely to go down."

...it better be Rodgers. He deserves the fight way more than AA. It's a decent opponent for Rodgers and most likely a comeback win after losing to Fedor. Although not a guaranteed W.
...This fight pretty much seals the deal that Fedor is not fighting on their April card. Fucking both sides need to get their collective heads out of their asses and come to the table with Fedor fighting for the title. I have a strong feeling Fedor actually might come to the UFC when his contract is up with SF if this shit does not get worked out soon....or somehow the contract gets voided due to a clause.

I'm really starting to treat any threads about rumored SF matches much like I did about Titi Ortiz threads before he resigned with the UFC. It's all bullshit until it's officialy announced. They have roughly a month and a half until their April 17th event and they have one official fight announced. The UFC is having arguably their biggest international card ever the week before, and we know virtually the entire card. This is a make or break year for SF, and they seem to have completely stumbled out of the gates.

I want to see Rogers in the UFC as much as Fedor, I think he is top 5 HW right now and severely underestimated.
Fedor is obviously #1, with a mix of Dos Santos Velasquez and Brock 2-4 and Brett 5th.

I really like Bigfoot, he showed some good skill in the loss to Werdum and just really needs to tune his stuff up if he wants to take it to the next level in terms of cardio etc. I'd prefer an Arlovski fight since I don't think Rogers is anywhere near Bigfoot's skill and Barnett's something of a pariah IMO.

Well they wouldn't be where they are now if they did. I think Strikeforce thinks that since they are on free tv, people will watch no matter what they do. But they are sadly mistaken. Think about all the really, REALLY casual MMA fans who kinda watch the UFC. Okay that right now is Strikeforces demo and all the time you will hear people say, "Damn I didn't even know the UFC was on! I would of watched it." And that's after all the advertising the UFC does. I just don't like this and the way it's being ran. Strikeforce has a TREMENDOUS opportunity with the network deal they have and some really good talent and it seems like they are pissing it all away. A month 1/2 away and we know ONE match? That is just pathetic. So what about the other fighters who might end up on the card? They get under 6 weeks to prepare to fight? I'm sorry and I'm all for competition with the UFC and having more fighting orgs but there is a continuing trend with all these second rate orgs, they are run horribly. I know a lot of people hate Dana White but it goes to show just how successful he has been with Frank and Lorenzo. They continue doing something almost no one else can. I don't even see right now as Strikeforce being the #2 org, it's more like WEC and Bellator tied at #2.
