I think the AO Barnett matchup makes plenty sense. Barnett can smack AO around and it is also good for both for neither have to worry about getting caught for steriods and it allows AO to stay away and defend his strikeforce belt for a while longer.

Barry Bonds hit .276 with 28 home runs in 2007. The next year no team in the bigs would give him a sniff. Eventually enough is enough. No one wants to be associated with Bonds or Barnett any longer. They have ruined what they accomplished earlier in their careers and there is no turning back now. Let Barnett stick to pro wrestling and leave me and the rest of the mma community alone.

Three times he tests positive, and he wonders why no one wants to sign him. Even his second test came back positive, hes black listed. He sunk Affliction, hes a main event fighter but no one wants to risk him. Id say give it some more time. Get tested every few months and post the clean results. Unless one comes back positive then he should just go retire,lol. Even AO gets more work, but then again AO will fight a donkey in mexico if the money is right.

I'll be the first one to agree with you, but i know deep in my heart if the headline on this page tomorrow reads : "Fedor vs Barnett for the WBNHGUHJ bullshit heavyweight title in Japan" i'll be secretly anticipating and watching that fight, even though i pretend like i dont care lol

I always wonder what his career would have been like if he stayed off the roids and did some serious conditioning, it is such a shame that people with talent waste it, Thank God BJ woke up and started taking shit seriously despite his fight with GSP he has been unstoppable. Lets hope all this bad press gets to him and he makes a change.

Why compete against someone who is going to cheat? Josh put himself in this hole, and can only blame himself. Its a shame too, because he could offer so much to any companies HW division. But then again maybe not, because who knows how far the juice has carried him throughout his career, and how much is God given talent. I personally have given up on him and hope he gets wrecked whenever he does find an opponent.

On the flip side though, Sylvia should ashamed of turning down big time names in order to squash has beens and cans. I could symphathize with not wanting to fight JB, but now the former UFC champ has been turned into a washed up circus act similar to Severen, Ricco and Shamrock. Least Coleman and AA take tough fights.

I know dana has said numerous times that Barnett will never fight in the UFC again, but it has been long enough. Josh is for sure a top 5 HW and would make for a lot of interesting matchups in the UFC. vs. guys like cain, carwin, jds, mir, lesnar and another fight with couture and nog. The UFC HW division has been consitered a joke in years past by many. If the ufc can get Josh and AA to come back. And try to get fedor, overeem, rogers, and lashley. The UFC HW division would be a beast and could very well be the best division in the UFC.

Josh isn't helping himself by pissing dirty again and again. Dana says how his job is like a glorified babysitter, yet he always likes to start public beefs with fighters and lets that get in the way of business. The UFC doesn't need Barnett to succeed but he needs to do what is best for the sport.

Im a fan of josh and think he could be the #2 HW right now, but he COULD NOT beat fedor. Watch his fights with nog and cc, and then watch fedor's fights with them.
