If all they were really after was money, then they could have done so by now. If you are easily considered the great mma fighter, and you want to make money, sign to the UFC, the biggest name in mma, promote the shit out of yourself, (the UFC would do a pretty good job of doing that themselves.) and them wait for the sponsorships and endorsements.

it's not all about money, he has enough and could get it easily if he wanted it.

ya cause they have always been about the level of competition!!! hahahahaha dont get me wrong i think fedor is probably the best HW in the world but i dont think fedors management is too concerned with level of competition, finkle is more concerned with money and expanding M1.........what a joke,just sign the contract and fight the UFC HW's already. there is no legit threat to fedor outside of the UFC, maybe barnett but i honestly dont think he would fair to well against the russian or the UFC HW's JMO

Man, Barnett/Fedor would be sweet, but at this juncture in time I think Fedor vs. ANYBODY would be sweet and I think this entire fiasco is predicated by M1 and Frankenstein and their money over all ideals, which is totally destroying Fedor's reputation among fans, which is a tragedy.

Sometimes, I simply wish Fedor or should I say, his people, could just shut up and fight sometimes and be greatful for his talents and challenge the best, because sooner or later, people are going to turn on him big time, they've begun but it's salvagable with a few acts of good faith, but it's not looking good.

M-1 is a piece of shit. They make no sense and god damn it makes hard not to think they are ducking. Fedor is beast, let him fight, if it is AO so what he is better Hong Man Choi and if they want some more freakshow fights you have Walker and i guess Jose, shit sign Toomy and have Fedor vs The Green Ranger. I do not know what they want anymore, they don't know what they want anymore, i swear M-1 is a female corporation. You want to fight deserving fighters with big names, then go to the UFC, but that is not what you want, you are a parasite that sucks orgs. dry go away. The biggest name you could fight is not Barnett, it is Lesnar, then prolly Randy(which is dying down with every fight and prolly Cain now), i would love to see Fedor vs Anderson Silva. M-1 you are such a joke and i can't and will not take you serious anymore. Get your act togeather, figure out what it is you want and then say something that is half way intelligent.

I somewhat agree with Fink's comment. Did Affliction really need a championship at their first show? Those titles are basically trophies and medals like what was said. You could say that whatever promotion Fedor went to, he would be fighting in title fights. In Ashland, Ohio if he showed up, he would be fighting Stan Jones for the WBFUCA Heavyweight title at the High School. It doesn't mean anything, really. It's not saying that Fedor isn't looking to become a Champion... he already is, but there is no need for shiny belts and trophies. The only belt of any significance for Fedor and his legacy would be the UFC belt. I doubt we'll ever see him over in the promotion, but you never know. Things happen.

He's a man. The end. Sure, great fighter but there are plenty of great fighters who actually face competition and are not above anything.

Much as I hate to say it, Fedor's management is ducking Overeem. I don't believe for a minute that Fedor himself would duck anybody, but he's gone on record saying that his actual involvement in contract/fight negotiations is almost nil.

It's just sad that a fighting legacy this great is tarnished by this kind of questionable dealing.

Let's not forget that Werdum is more deserving of a title fight with Fedor than both Barnett and AO but that fight not only fell through, they don't even mention him. If M1 wants a legitimate fight for Fedor, they should do what ever they can to make the Werdum fight happen, otherwise shut the fuck up and sign the AO fight so he can win the title

Fighters do not pick thier opponets anymore. Real fighters fight whomever is in front of them. Werdurm? AO or anyone this is bullshit!!! Seriously is anyone other than me starting to think that Fedor is owned by M-1 or some unknown Russian mafia comtigent? Any real fighter today is fighting 3-plus times a year. Fedor has not had a true test in years, I still think he is skilled but come on he is not worth really talking about. Until he starts fighting consistently forgret about it. M-1 and Fedor are a joke at this point.

I agree. When UFC fighers beat Fedors recent opponents, Fedor's, camp dodged them. Fedor is a has-been, at best. A coward at worst.
