there's a [fairly goofy metaphorical] story about two guys on a beach full of starfish drying in lowtide. And the first guy says he was able to save that one, though. And then he picks up another one.
I know, starfish suck, but I'm pleased that dana is doing the right thing here. If I thought about the people I couldn't
help every time I'm moved to do something right, I'd never have the energy to do anything at all, and I wouldn't be able to even help the first person.

I'm not sure if they're referring to his personal donation of £5,000 or the £56,000 that the campaign has in it. The math would be close either way.
