this is the lamest sign the ufc has done thus far. how you gonna sign a 41 yr old ex-roider and say it is good for the sport?!?! are you f%$#ing kidding me?! i cant beleive so many people are stoked about this. just goes to show that there are plenty of mma fans that actually dig the side show mma circus act! shit.....at least hershal is a legis martial artist! so what if toney USED to be able to throw in the BOXING ring. the old man has no FUCKING mma foundation. i guess that dana really does feel the need to compete with strikeforce, and this proves that.
recipe to beat james toney= take the old man down and give him the ground and pound of a lifetime. show him that mma is a different world and on another physical level than boxing!
ok, i'm done bitching and ranting. i fell better now. lolz

ok, i'm done bitching and ranting. i fell better now. lolz | I like this signing. Same reason why I like Walker and Canseco. I like freakshows. This is no different. To say Toney is a fighter, blah blah blah, it's bullshit. That's just what UFC nuthuggers are going to say. I'm interested in Toney in the UFC. As well as I'm interested in what Walker can do to Canseco. I don't give a fuck. I'm not biased. Because what both promotions have in common is one thing. MAKING MONEY. Doesnt matter who they sign or what, if it makes dollars, it makes sense.

does anyone think this will open the door for other Boxers or Wrestlers to enter the UFC i think Lashley would make a bigger impact to the UFC than JLOT If he Fights Kimbo first up Kimbo the CAN will lose but someone More talented with a good takedown will distory him on the ground he will have no problem boxing anyone in the UFC its a no brainer but he doesnt know what he is getting him self into with Ground and Pound and Wrestling good luck to him but would like to see him fight someone better than kimbo that would be a disappointment UFC will sign you if you have a name hell if bill clinton wanted to fight in MMA i am sure Dana Will sign him wish George W Bush wanted to Switch to MMA lol

The most legitimate athlete after Lesnar from the sports entertainment world is Bobby Lashley because he comes from amateur wrestling and with more seasoning, could be a major threat to anybody.

I say put him against the Shamrocks , Fryes , then Houston Alexander , Kimbo and his last fight in contract fight either Brock , Cain , or Randy ...... Then after he loses and retires , Dana not only will make big $$$ , but also steal some boxing fans for future income and will elevate whoever beats Toney and i am guessing that will be Cain or Brock. | I don´t see him beating even kimbo or Houston, takedown-gnp-fast stoppage.
