Default Best boxer in MMA?

With the new signing of Toney, Who is the best boxer in MMA?

Chris Lytle is Golden gloves caliber
Daley is great in the hands
Toney No words needed
Vitor with that speed and power
Marcus Davis as a great record in boxing
ETC

I did not even do a poll cause there could be so many options

Toney is proven as a boxer but who do you have?

Anderson Silva
- technique
- quickness
- superb movement
- superb defense
- superb accuracy

I have never seen Silva leave a cage damaged. Until another fighter in MMA proves otherwise I think he has the best standup and certainly the best boxing.

The rest you listed in order:
- James Toney
- Paul Daley
- Vitor Belfort
- Chris Lytle (his style is ugly but fuck it works for him)
- Marcus Davis

I personally feel that Tyson Griffin is one of the most underrated boxers in the UFC. His technique is so crisp and clean. Also there's Sam Stout who put on a clinic against Lauzon!

I don't feel they are the best strikers of course. Just the fact that they don't get any praise for their pure technique.

Do you think Tyson Griffin would beat BJ Penn in a boxing match?

That's not what I'm saying. If you read all of my post you'd see that my point was that they don't get much recognition for their fantastic technique. I don't feel their the best, but very underrated overall.

I'm surprised there was no mention to Junior Dos Santos, I think he has excellent hands.

Anderson Silva and JDS for me.
