All I know is Dominic Cruz looked like something you would see in Mike Tyson's Punch Out! Unorthodox weaving feints, beautiful counters, it was something to see for sure, I give him full props. Sucks about the stoppage and hand break but with adrenaline flowing Bowles lasted awhile. Hard to think that the hand was his excuse for getting dominated 2 rounds.

If you pulled a muscle in your leg or broke a toe do you thing you could run the 440 just as quick?? So why wouldn't a broken hand limit your punching power & ability??

You can mock all you want which is foolish to do. I've been like an open book to anyone on these forums from day one. From my then limited knowledge on MMA to my personal battles causing me to become incarcerated in the state of Texas for 5 years of my life (TDCJ id #1079386 if you want to look it up online). I'm no internet warrior and never have come across that way. I was merely stating that I have been there after you assumed I hadn't. My past isn't something I'm proud of but I am proud of where I am today in my life and that's through hard work, perserverance and the huge support I've received from my family. You over exaggerate what I've been through and that is a dick head move to do. You weren't on that rec yard in Beeville,Texas when a race riot broke out between the Blacks and the Mexicans. I was. You weren't completely outnumbered because you were one of only a hand full of white people out there, I was. I speak from experience, not to strike fear into anyone who's reading my posts. I was stabbed in a riot and luckily escaped with my life. But I've been there and I know what it's like to fight through adversity. So you can mock me all you want but don't assume you know what I've been through.

A toothpick? Wow you guys really don't have a clue do you. First off, there aren't any toothpicks in the Texas prison system. Secondly, I didn't really want to sit and have a discussion with the guy trying to figure out what his shank was made of. And you're right, the GUYS I were fighting against didn't have the skill set, no where near, what Dominick Cruz possesses. But I would take an ass whooping by him any day then to go through what I did on that rec yard that day. You can say it's classless but in my opinion he could've kept fighting if he wanted to. Name one fight that has been stopped due to a hand injury? I can't think of any. So if I'm missing some, then please let me know.

...I'm sorry for what you went through in Prison,as I did a year and it sucked ass. So I can only imagine what you have been through bro........but that gives you no reason to call Bowles out. Especially when you know nothing of the circumstances that went on sat. night in regards to his fight. Bottom line.

Urijah had the speed advantage in that fight so he could better protect himself whereas Bowles was definitely a lot slower than Cruze and with the broken hand lost his main weapon and couldn't really protect himself (he was like a tank that couldn't fire, he had no chance)


(still thought it was crazy that Urijah kept fighting, and came close to winning by submission, he is lucky that he did not do more permanent damage to his hands).

The only thing my post "assumed" is that you have never been in a professional MMA fight. Now I'll go above assume and guarantee you've never been in a professional MMA title fight.

I don't really care what you did when you were 8, we all played little league. I don't care if you got stabbed and kept fighting. To call Bowles a Puss makes you look foolish, to pretend you know what level of pain or level of use he had in his hand because you've broken yours before makes you look stupid.

To call a pro fighter a puss because of an injury is classless and baseless if you've never experienced the same exact thing yourself. I know you took a foul ball off your hand when you were 8 and your super tough because you went back out in the field, but it's really not the same thing.

I'm just wondering why you always bring up going to prison doing 5 years whenever someone challenges something you've said. You say its not something you're proud of so why do you keep announcing it to the world? We've all gone through trials and tribulations in our life (I've stated mine once on this board and that is enough) I just don't get why it keeps coming up from you. When the statement was made that you had no idea what Bowles was feeling, that had nothing to do with you getting stabbed and kept fighting, nothing to do with your time in prison so I just didn't see the point in bringing it up yet again.
