All I'm saying is that his opinion isn't completely outrageous the way alot of posters are making it seem.

It's not his opinion people are having a problem with, it's the way he presented it. Saying Bowles pussed out is classless and baseless. If that's his opinion fine, but calling out a fighter who does something you can't makes you look silly.

I'm assuming a few things:
You've been on here long enough to know better ways to state your opinion.
You've been posting articles long enough to know not to change a title.
You've been here long enough to know not to double post.
You're smart enough not to post some punkassed comments from the Kalib thread--from guys who were warned about it back then and don't even post here anymore--and pretend that it's normal, acceptable behavior.

So I'm going to chalk this up to you having a bad day and get over it.

I think all of those things are both probable, and acceptable without meaning someone pussed out. I'd also cite Jamie Varner, who was out for a year because he kept throwing with a broken bone in his hand, and still hasn't come back as strong as he was pre-injury.

I think that if Bowles was actually willing to give up the loss and say that Cruz was the better man that night, specifically with the intent of coming back healthy and getting his belt back, he's a smart fighter. There are plenty of mooks who play to the casual fan who only likes to see someone stand in the pocket and trade who end up derailing their career to become some type of gladiatorial caricature.

I guess everyone has to take his opinion as gospel since he's been in there. So maybe I'm not passing judgment as much as I am agreeing with Cruz.
The horse is long-dead already, but Cruz isn't saying Bowles pussed out. He's just saying that he wanted it more. But I don't think anyone here was saying that Cruz didn't want it more. That was pretty obvious.

But as Sakara has already acknowledged, conceding a fight to someone who wants it more when you're injured--essentially living to fight another day--doesn't mean someone pussed out.
