So when we look at a common opponent(GSP), Fitch almost got finished in the very first round, almost finished in the 3rd and I believe 4th. Stuffed no TD's from GSP(That I know of), and never had an advantageous position. While Alves never come close to getting finished, stuffed multiple TD's and actually got a advantageous position on GSP, its not hard to tell who did better then who.
Alves has the best TDD at WW, maybe the UFC. He's stopped TD's from Matt Hughes, Koscheck AND GSP. And if I remember right Alves actually had GSP on HIS back.
Fitch has gone to a
decision in his last 5 wins, and those decision wins go by the names of Chris Wilson, Mike Peirce, Akihiro Gono, Paulo Thiago and Diego Sanchez.
