Coming out initially and saying that Hardy, a guy who just beat you, doesn't deserve a shot, what are you saying about yourself? If you suffer a loss, don't you want it to be against the highest possible ranked fighter? If you say that Hardy is, for argument's sake, number 10 amongst the UFC's WWs, and you just lost to him, wouldn't that make you number 11??? It was a dumb statement to make in the 1st place, and he probably came to that realization.
