I hope Dana does make an example of Toney so a boxer in his prime gets stupid enough to step in the cage. Ali vs Inoki was ages ago but remember the leg kicks and such. imagine what a smart modern day fighter could do to a guy who only knows how to use his hands and footwork. I love both sports but boxers really ought to realize not every fight stays standing. I workout with amateur boxers and it amazes me how many of them think a double leg or a shoot are the only ways to get a takedown
I say give Toney to Cro Cop or anyone from a K1 background so we can show nobodys scared to stand.

I would not bank the perception of all MMA strikers to the general public's eye on Crop Cop at this point in his career lol. I mean Kevin Randleman manged to knock him out.

Who is Freddie Roach? The guy that was saying that Arlovksy would KTFO Fedor in the first round?
Ah yes, I dont care at all what he says. I think he knows very little about MMA.
And if Toney gets murdered it is his fault, he has been opening his mouth too much saying that he will destroy everyone. Basically he is asking for a good beating.

Silva is enamoured with what was the legend RJJ. This fight is like his instant pension and dream rolled into one. I am more then curious to see how it would unfold but outcome is definite. I, for one, would buy into his pension plan to watch my favorite boxer and MMA fighter go to war.
It will be sad to see Anderson leave the MMA world.

I'm very excited about this fight. I've always wanted to see how a pretty good boxer (and Toney is still just that, pretty good) would do in the UFC. All it takes in one punch....

So what is Dana to do? you sign him and this guy gets pissed thinking the UFC is trying to make an example of him, or you don't sign him and JT and the rest of the boxing community mocks the UFC for being too scared to let him in. blahblahblah, there are strikers the UFC, let alone mma in general who can stand with James Toney.
He's not that fast anymore, he's out of shape, he's not taking training seriously. There are plenty of guys who could ware him down and tko this man. fuck james toney, fuck freddie roach, and fuck the boxing community. fuck rambo too since i'm on a tangent. glad the guy got booted. | Whoa!! Tell us how you REALLY feel. I agree reped Quote:
