| Josh Barnett vs. Siala "Mighty Mo" Siligia signed for DREAM.13 in Japan Josh Barnett vs. Siala "Mighty Mo" Siligia signed for DREAM.13 in Japan | MMAjunkie.com Quote:
A rumored heavyweight matchup between Josh Barnett (24-5 MMA, 0-0 DREAM) and Siala "Mighty Mo" Siliga (3-1 MMA, 0-0 DREAM is signed for DREAM.13.
Siligia's manager, Steve Rusich of Triple Crown Fighter, on Saturday confirmed the bout's status to MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com).
DREAM.13 takes place March 22 at Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan and features a featherweight championship bout between titleholder Bibiano Fernandes and top-ranked veteran Joachim Hansen.
The event airs live on HDNet at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.
DREAM confirmed Barnett's slot on the card on Friday but his opponent remained unclear.
The 32-year-old Barnett has not fought in MMA since this past January, when he submitted Gilbert Yvel with strikes at "Affliction: Day of Reckoning." He was due to fight Fedor Emelianenko this past August before he became embroiled in a conflict over a pre-fight drug test mandated by the California State Athletic Commission.
Barnett participated in a pro wrestling match against Bobb Sapp in his most recent non-MMA performance.
Meanwhile, Siliga, an accomplished kickboxer, fights for just the fifth time under MMA rules.
The 39-year-old two-time K-1 World Grand Prix champion opened his MMA career with three-straight wins by knockout or TKO. But in his most recent appearance, a December 2008 bout with fellow K-1 champ Semmy Schilt, Siliga was submitted in the first round via triangle choke.
Siliga had been expected to face Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic at this past June's DREAM.10 event. "Mighy Mo" was scrapped from the card when Filipovic withdrew from the card in favor of remaining with the UFC.
With the addition to the card, DREAM.13 now includes:
•Champ Bibiano Fernandes vs. Joachim Hansen (for DREAM featherweight title)
•Josh Barnett vs. Siala "Mighty Mo" Siligia
•Cole Escovedo vs. Yoshiro Maeda
•Kuniyoshi Hironaka vs. Katsunori Kikuno
•Andre "Dida" Amade vs. K.J. Noons
•Ryo Chonan vs. Andrews Nakahara
•Jimmy Ambriz vs. Ikuhisa Minowa
* - Not officially announced

This could be an exciting fight, if Barnett decides to be stupid about his gameplan, but I don't see that being the case. Like I said it could be good, probably not but I will still watch to hopefully see Barnett KO'ed.

Barnett could get KO'd but probably won't happen, he is too smart. I say Barnett by GNP in round 2

This is Josh Barnetts fight all day long. Wonder where he goes after this though? He has kinda burned some bridges.

I'd like to see what he would do with Rogers. that would be a entertaining fight.

thats probably the biggest fight possible outside of the UFC, and i would have been on board. But the last few weeks of bullshit from Barnett and even more bullshit from Fedor and M-1, I don't care who either of them fights anymore. I've almost lost all interest in watching Fedor fight. I don't really care who he fights because I know it's not going to be anyone i care to see him fight.

There is nothing Fedor can do to please you or anybody else. I would bet if he beat Lesnar, you would say "So what, Brock only has 4 mma fights and was a rookie!" | You're reading into my post wrong, but that's ok. I like Fedor, he's the best fighter in the world, my beef is with M-1 more specifically then Fedor. I just want him in the octagon against some new faces. Werdum is an alright match-up, but there are other fights i'd much rather see.
I could care less if he fights Lesnar. I'm not a Lesnar fan, and the only fight of his i enjoyed was against Couture. If they fought I'd watch it but it's not the fight I'd make if Dana signed him. I'd like to see him fight Mir, Kongo, Velasquez, Dos Santos and Carwin over Lesnar. But these fights will never happen because this back and forth nonsense with M-1 and UFC won't come to a peaceful end before Fedor hangs up his gloves.
Therefore I don't care what his next fight is after Werdum because he's not fighting anyone I care about. Maybe Barnett, and maybe Overeem could be potential goldmine fights, but the way they're juicing I doubt Fedor will even fight them. So I just don't care

Your logic is silly. You are discrediting Fedor outright. | OMFG, I was about to agree with you, then you said Rogers was better then Kongo, and you went right back to being an idiot. Kongo is a world champion kick-boxers,Rogers is a fucking tire jockie.
I dont want to see Fedor fight anyone right now, because it'll just stir up drama bullshit with M-1 and the fight will take a few extra months to even be considered.
Josh should take this to the ground, and sub Mo with ease. Also to get his career back on track he should go and have himself tested and post the results to the public. For one year he should take any fight, piss clean and then sign with the UFC. Dana would sign him,is Josh eats crow.
