Seriously, faked the injury? Some other idiot had some theory like that when it first came out. By far one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Why would he have to fake an injury. He could just as easily turn the fight down and claim he isn't worthy to save face. Or he could say Carwin is his friend and he won't fight his friends. And the complexity of the injury... Why not, broken arm, somethin simple?

Brock's not afraid of anyone. He has too much pride to be. I think, fear is good to a point, as long as you don't let it control you.

That said, I'm putting all my money on Mir for the win. Carwin doesn't have Mir standing and if it goes to the ground, Mir will sub him. Carwin just isn't there yet IMO. I could be wrong. I think Brock will beat Mir, but I think at the same time, Carwin would give Brock more trouble than Mir, even though I think Mir would beat Carwin... yea, I know right.. lol

Mir's not stuiped he knows if the fans want to see a fight and it will draw big numbers the UFC will put it on. So he's just trying to insure he get's to fight Brock, and this fight could even happen if he lost to Carwin just not right away. Money talks and so does Frank

The rubber match between Brock and Mir will happen. Dana wil make it cause, like you said, it will draw HUGE numbers. Plus there is a list of HW that could hold the belt, JDS, Cain, Carwin, which could set-up the match even if Brock or Mir does not have the belt.

This rubber match will be the largest one since, or bigger than Randy v Chuck 3

Whenever some breaks the code on MMA math there will be a nobel prize wating on them, well maybe not that great, but they should at least get an interview on Maury.
