Is this the first time going to war has been marginalized in prefight trashtalking?? lol I think not. Not saying it's a good thing but Hardy uses it in a slightly different context and all of a sudden it's taboo? It's not like what he said had a different meaning then when someone says. "We're going to war", "WAR GSP!", "It's going to be a war!".. martial arts isn't about going to war but neither is an MMA fight. So it's all the same to me. I'm already desensitized I guess.

Reason: spelled desensitized wrong.... maybe it's still wrong.

I think it's funny that Hardy is the trash-talker, but somehow GSP is getting under his skin without even trying, or is he....
In the B.J. fight, GSP showed that he and his camp are master planners, so I wonder if he's using Hardy's own strategy against him. If Hardy comes into the fight too riled up, that could work out well for GSP's takedowns, then it's game over.

I'm actually rooting for Dan Hardy now after seeing the Primetime, even though GSP is my favorite fighter. I think the WW division needs a change of pace and if Hardy loses, the division will just be boring, one of the GSP vs. the rest of the division cases. If Hardy wins, it opens a LOT of potential matchups, including GSP vs. some fighters he beat (Hughes maybe? Fitch Alves) and plenty of people would match up good against Hardy if he became champion. So I'm rooting for GSP. I think another loss will keep him motivated and force him to re-vamp his game plan for fights because his constant takedowns aren't as exxciting as he use to be when he would stand and bang with people.

Am I going crazy, or during the show last night did Spike air the commercial for part 3 of UFC Primetime for St-Pierre vs. Penn to air next Wednesday instead of part 3 for St-Pierre vs. Hardy?

Plus Nate refreshed his wrestling and gave him a new perspective. He's leaps and bounds more prepared for this then Hardy is. Training BJJ with Serra? I understand Serra has some wicked Jiu Jitsu, but if GSP mashed up Serra, AND Penn, I don't see how a few lessons will do anything to improve his ground game.
Just my thoughts | yea my thoughts exactly...dont understand how having Serra train him gives him an edge...sure Serra beat him the first time by fluke, luck, skill, w/e u wanna call it but he was smashedddddd in the 2nd fight? What insight can he give Hardy from that fight?....that GSP has good wrestling or his GnP is brutal?
Anyone noticed how Hardy was talkin trash to Firas, about how he wants to smack him more than GSP? Penn felt the same way too soo i was wondering what do all these guys hav against Firas? Is it cause he can time after time find new ways to improve GSP's skills cause i hav not seen FZ talk trash about either Hardy or Penn

So instead of GSP fighting people and winning we would see Hardy get destroyed by Fitch/Alves, wierd but ok, atleast you say your rooting for Hardy and made your stance. Not one i agree with by any means by ok.
"So I'm rooting for GSP" .....Oh. So you change your mind? Prolly best, GSP is going to own Hardy anyways.
"because his constant takedowns aren't as exxciting as he use to be when he would stand and bang with people" I don't know i like watching and thought his last four fights were exciting. Why would he just stand and bang with people when he can totally dominate them by mixing up strikes and takedowns well? So what i am getting out of this is because for some reason his recent fights aren't as exciting, which i firmly disagree with, due to "constant" takedowns that you want him to lose to a clearly less skilled fighter for him to "re-vamp" his game to be more of a striker? Or in other words you don't want him to "re-vamp" his game rather you want him to limit his game to a "excitable" one dimensional stand up striker, or in other words Dan Hardy.
