I have Vera winning this fight, on his expierence alone. As a fan of his I am getting tired of him living in the past, talking about how good he was or how he got screwed, and just want him to perform. I want him to show me how good he is as opposed to telling me how good he is. He better worry about defending takedowns, because those highlight reel throws equal points and holding someone in your closed guard does not. Vera is awesome on the ground, but judging by Jones camp I think they will have him prepared.

I really think Jones uses Greco Roman like Randy did. Vera will loose by UD IMO

remember when as a board we though vera vs hammil would be a good fight??

i for one didnt expect that, i was thinking this should be a pretty close fight. i honestly see jones tearing through vera.

infact ill go a step further, in 3 to 5 years i see us on this board argueing that jones should still be undeated and that that loss shouldnt count. he will be in the p4p discussions one day.

i know i know its hard to base someone off of one fight, but look at him in the bonnar fight and then the hamill fight, alot of improvement. and he was already pretty good when he fought bonnar.

totally unrelated note, but 3 years from now jon bones jones vs phil smith..................................im alreay getting hyped up for that one. it will happen

Jones has a lot of potential and is a pretty good fighter but I'm not a fan. Vera has been fighting like crap lately I hope he gets his head outta his ass and goes back to knockin guys out... Most likely it'll be Vera by decision...
